Fitz and the Tantrums and The Wilcox Sessions

On the surface, online The Wilcox Sessions are a series of ongoing live performance recordings of bands of all genres in an intimate setting. Look any further and you’ll see what sets it apart; a couple, gerontologist going by the names of Dick and Beaver, stomach invite these bands into their swanky place on Wilcox in Hollywood, makes them take their shoes off at the door (everyone performs without shoes, no exceptions) and brings in an incredibly talented camera and sound crew to capture unique footage tailored to each and every act.

Even the crew had to leave the shoes at the door.

The atmosphere in the house is like that of a family and everyone is so seasoned that they execute each session and keep the party going simultaneously. With their most recent guest being Moby, I’d say the outfit is growing nicely.
